The Credit Union of Southern California is celebrating its 70th anniversary.
During the celebration event held in late March, the institution honored members who played a role in the credit union's journey from one branch to a network of 23 branches across Southern California, according to a press release.
The credit union was founded in 1954 as Whittier Area Schools Federal Credit Union and serves more than 154,000 members.
