A Bank of America ATM in Middletown Ohio malfunctioned while a woman was depositing cash, leading to a $2,000 loss. When resident Colleen Curran made the deposit, the ATM screen went dark and didn't dispense a receipt, according to a report by WCPO.

"The majority of the bills were $100 increments," she said in the report.

When WCPO contacted the bank, a spokeswoman said it would investigate the matter and the next day said it had been resolved. Curren later told WCPO that the bank contacted her and said they would restore her cash on the next billing cycle.
