European Update:
EUROPE’S PREMIER ATM CONFERENCE EXPANDS
Retail Banking Research (RBR) and the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA Europe) have once again joined forces to produce Europe’s largest ATM conference. “European ATMs 2008” will be held at the Riverbank Park Plaza hotel in London, on 14th and 15th April
Following the sell-out success of this event in 2007, it has moved to a larger venue to allow for more delegates and exhibitors, and increased space for networking. The key attractions of the 2007 conference, most notably bank and IAD case studies from across Europe, will remain – while major introductions include themed streams and a gala dinner.
The programme features more than 35 speakers, including 25 ATM deployers and networks, with almost 20 countries represented. A wide range of topics will be covered including self-service strategy, deposit automation, outsourcing, new services, ATM marketing and multivendor software. Among the banks speaking are HSBC of the UK, Alfa Bank of Russia and Piraeus Bank of Greece.
One of the highlights of the event will be the rare chance to hear an address by John Shepherd-Barron OBE, inventor of the ATM, during the gala dinner to which all conference participants are invited.
A summary of the speaker programme is shown below. For more details and to book your place, please visit www.atmiaconferences.com/Events/EuropeanATMs/Index.cfm
– please note that the organisers are offering a heavily discounted rate for banks of only €550*/£400*/$795. Delegates and exhibitors are encouraged to book now, as places are limited.
The conference is sponsored by VocaLink, Phoenix Interactive Design and Diebold.
