Global ATM Security Alliance

A warm welcome to the website of the Global ATM Security Alliance. GASA (pronounced "Gazza") was formed in June 2003 through the ATM Industry Association. Our purpose is to combat the threat of cross border ATM crimes like debit card fraud, skimming and ATM scams, perpetrated in many cases by highly mobile crime syndicates.

Our mission is to employ global security resources in a united alliance in order to protect the ATM industry from criminal activity.

GASA is a formidable worldwide alliance made up of international card schemes, law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, ATM networks, industry associations, manufacturers, cash in transit groups and security consultancies.

GASA produces international security best practice manuals for the ATM business lifecycle, global fraud alerts, analysis of crime trends and migration patterns, and manages public relations in the field of ATM security.
